This poem is dedicated to my son, Tyler, and his friend Dustin, for the work they are doing for Suicide Prevention week. They will be at a forum tonight at Ben Davis High School! Good job, guys! I am very proud of you and the examples you set.
Today may look bleak to you
Giving up is on your side,
You don't think anyone cares
As you ponder suicide.
There is light in the tunnel
And there's a reason to be,
The sun will rise tomorrow
Just give it a chance and see!
